Maplesoft Group is currently seeking up to 3 Agile Coaches to join one of our clients located in Ottawa.

Our client has a requirement for three (3) Agile Coaches. As part of a Portfolio, the Resources will guide the transformation from a Waterfall to an Agile software and product development culture across business and enterprise boundaries to ensure lasting, holistic organizational change. The consultants will also ensure performance optimization of software and product development methodologies to achieve significant improvements in time-to-market, cost efficiencies, quality and staff engagement. The consultants will specialize in driving change to deliver exceptional business value to clients through outstanding employee engagement therefore dramatically improving the way IT works and elevating the collective consciousness of the next generation of IT leaders and their teams to be Agile.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to support the execution of specific engagement and education initiatives
• Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and work with the organizational change management specialists to develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns; develop risk mitigation strategies
• Be an active and visible coach for several teams working in Scrum
• Consolidated analysis of current-state and baseline for future (using Agility Health Assessment)
• Support the transformation strategy and roadmap
• Engagement, education and training of leaders and staff
• Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress
• Support the Agile Centre of Enablement to build and manage a transformation backlog that will support Agile transformation on a broader scale.


• A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in organizational development, business administration, communications, human resources or related discipline
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant work experience in coaching and/or changing organizational culture
• A minimum of two (2) years experience working in an IT environment
• Certifications in Agile, Kanban, and Lean methodologies will be considered an asset
• Certification in Organizational Change Management will be considered an asset
• Excellent communicator, at ease collaborating with both IT front-line and business support staff, as well as leadership ranks to support large scale change initiatives bottom-up and top-down

Other Requirements

• Consultants must be eligible to meet Reliability clearance requirements
• English essential, French will be considered an asset
