Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Bilingual Project Scheduler to join one of our clients located in Gatineau
 
Our client requires the services of a Project Scheduler to assist the project manager and the team in an array of tasks in order to carry out successfully the Linguistic Services Request Management System project.
 
Tasks include but are not limited to:
• Develop and support project schedules;
• Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures;
• Produce appropriate reports and identify scheduling and/or dependency issues;
• Conduct and provide critical path analysis;
• Assist in schedule co-ordination efforts with internal and external project stakeholders;
 
Additional Responsibilities:
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Proficiency in the use of project scheduling software  MS project
• Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
• Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans
 
The proposed resource must be able to work autonomously, and be able to provide a high quality deliverables. It is expected that the proposed resource will proactively understand the project and make recommendations to the Project Authority on communication elements that could be considered to enhance the outcomes of the project, and to ensure a successful and strategic completion of the project.
 
In addition to the above identified progress reports, the deliverables in this project will be identified as the projects progress, but may be including, without being limited to:
• Drafting PowerPoint presentations for executive management committee to be delivered by a director and a vice-president
• Using Excel spreadsheets to track projects, analyze technical, administrative, project, and financial data for a director and a vice-president
• Assist Linguistic Services Request Management System project team in carrying out their projects and duties in various capacities
• Analyzing situations, proposing alternatives and recommending a solution, formally and in writing
• Review documents to ensure that there are no errors in English or French
• Other deliverables may be required on an ad hoc basis.
