Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Project Executive to join one of our clients located in Ottawa

The Project Executive is required to develop a continuous improvement plan, and assist with its implementation while leveraging existing work in progress. Our client has several service delivery and project related initiatives underway related to improving the onboarding processes, material management framework, asset management reporting and must also respond to recommendations proposed by other divisions.

The Project Executive must perform the following tasks and activities and not limited:
• Performing in the role of a Strategic advisor, provide strategic advice to the CIO senior management related to business transformation and continuous improvements using “Lean Thinking” and applying digital transformation strategies;
• Develop key strategies and assist with action plans;
• Assist management with the achieving key business outcomes and measurable metrics;
• Meet with other organizational executives to ensure stakeholders (Internal and external) are committed and moving forward on project and organizational goals;
• Attend steering committees;
• Assist management with developing strategies for resolving of any major issues related to the program and or projects;
• Prepare briefing notes/presentations as required;
• Provide updates/status reporting to senior management as required; and
• Other related duties as required by Senior Executives of Corporate Services.

Qualifications:
• Must be highly proficient to communicate in both official languages
• 10+ years experience as a Project Leader/Senior Project Manager
• Professional work experience developing continuous improvement plans using the Lean Method with service delivery frameworks
• Experience providing advisory/business consulting services on IM/IT transformation and/or Digital Transformation programs/projects.
• Experience managing IT operating budgets >$100M in a multi-billion Canadian Federal Department or Crown Corporation.
• Professional work experience identifying business process improvements.
• Professional work experience establishing and conducting stakeholder interview sessions and/or workshops.
• Certification at the Lean Six Sigma – Black Belt level.
• Must have an undergraduate degree or college diploma from a recognized accredited university or college in business management, business administration or a similar discipline.

• Prosci Change Management
• ACMP - Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
• APMG – Change Management Practitioner (CMP)
