Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Intermediate Service Desk Support Analyst to join one of our clients located in Edmonton

The Sector Service Management team within Portfolio Delivery has a requirement for a Service Desk Support Analyst. This position will support the sector’s Service Management team in fielding support requests for software/hardware services, change requests, and general technical knowledge.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

•       Provide front-line telephone support.
•       Diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems with Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, printers and handheld devices
•       Provide service and support for applications and functions unique to the worksite/business unit.
•       Assist clients and provide coaching on new/existing hardware and software.
•       Development end user training as required.
•       Provide end user training sessions as required.
•       Follow established procedures in support of new technologies.
•       Use Service Desk administration software to log all requests and document their resolution.
•       Participate in related projects as required.
•       Develop and maintain documentation as required.
•       Submit regular reports on status and time reporting as required
