Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Cloud Architect to join one of our clients located in Ottawa.
The successful candidate will be required to design and architect, as well as support the management and use of various Cloud (Hybrid, Public and Disaster Recovery) environments.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Establish and support technology standards, roadmaps, frameworks, processes and policies related to core infrastructure. - Evaluate and assess emerging technologies to keep aligned with current trends. - Design, plan, and architect solutions using new technologies, based on business requirements, and smoothly transition knowledge of these solutions for deployment and operation. - Create and maintain documentation related to technology standards, business cases, infrastructure architecture, best practices and architecture frameworks.
Mandatory qualifications: - Design, hands-on, and implementation experience in either: VMWare (vCloud, vChargeback, VRealize, NSX, vCenter,ESX,VDI), IBM (Cloud), VCE (VBlock), NetApp , Dell-EMC Storage, Backup Technologies. - Experience with IBM (Email Cloud Computing), HP/Nexus/NetApp/vCloud, and UCS/Nexus. - Certifications in any of the following: VCP, VMWare View 4.x, VCE (Architecture or Implementation Engineer) or Any cloud certification (AWS or Azure).
