    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an IT Project Manager/Project Coordinator
    to join one of our Federal Government clients located in Ottawa.

    The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks, including, but not
    limited to:

    - Assist with IT project coordination, including communications within IT,
    client business partners and third party vendors;

    - Create schedules, tracking tables, status and risk assessments to support the
    reporting of the project(s)

    - Work closely with other areas of IT to coordinate the involvement of their
    resources and to ensure deliverables meet the requirements of all projects.

    - Assist in the process to identify resources, develop statements of work, initiate
    contracts for the provision of professional services and/or hardware/software,
    track project budgets and resources, and deliver status reports and metrics.

    - Coordinate the creation and review of technical designs, system test plans
    and ensure a smooth transition into production and hand-off to support teams.

    - Co-ordinate and deliver IT projects using client's Project Management
    methodologies.

    - Coordinate the development, maintenance and implementation of releases
    and version control processes, procedures and guidelines for client's
    business systems and Information Technology.

    - Participate in project teams engaged in the design, programming,
    implementation, support and maintenance of IT requirements for projects.

    - Package and deliver documentation, training and special reports for regular
    clients or special audits.

    - Run meetings and facilitate discussions

    - Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing;

    - Plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple priorities concurrently and work well
    under pressure;

    - Strong client service orientation 

    - Ability to negotiate and manage expectations;

    - Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;

    - Initiative, meticulousness and thoroughness;

    - Effective interpersonal skills;

    - Maintain strong organizational skills; and

    - Coordinate working hours to coincide with the availability of client's key
    resources for this requirement.
