    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Marketing Research Analyst for one of our clients in the National Capital Region. 

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement Of Work” but are not limited to:

    The Marketing Research Analyst service provider will have the following responsibilities:

    •          Review and perform quality assurance on research instruments (surveys & interview guides)

    •          Prepare sample lists and upload them into EDC’s customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).

    •          Create and test survey distributions in EDC’s customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).

    •          Program surveys in EDC’s customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).

    •          Test programmed surveys in EDC’s customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).

    •          Code Open end responses: hundreds of verbatim, open-ended comments (non-structured data) from survey responses, code them into themes using Qualtrics and help generate insights

    •          Load customer survey results manually into EDC’s CRM

    •          Create dashboards in EDC’s customer experience and research platform (Qualtrics).

    •          Conduct some analysis in SPSS

    •          Put together small reports from SPSS analysis into PowerPoint

    •          Review and perform quality assurance on reports

    •          Participate in meetings

    Specific Project Requirements

    •          Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing research.

    •          Demonstrated experience in statistical methodologies and proven knowledge of the tools and techniques to capture, analyze, and disseminate actionable customer insights.

    •          Experience programming online surveys and manipulating data in a research platform

    •          Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis including; coding open ends into themes, conducting frequencies and crosstabs

    •          Experience using Microsoft Office, MS Excel, and SPSS

    •          Strong attention to detail

    •          Security clearance

    Skills

    Top Skills Required:

    •          Market research skills, including experience in analyzing quantitative data by coding open ends into themes, conducting frequencies and crosstabs.  

    •          Online survey programming skills using a research platform like Qualtrics or Survey Monkey

    •          Ability to prepare & review insights summaries, reports or presentations

    Other Skills Required:

    •          Software such as Microsoft office, Excel, and SPSS, research platforms (like Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc.)

    •          Good communication skills and attention to detail

    •          Ability to collaborate with other researchers and marketing members

     

    Assets:

    •          Familiarity with customer research platform such Qualtrics Experience Measurement Platform

    •          Familiarity with Agile methodologies

    •          College certificate or degree in marketing research and intelligence
