Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an experienced bilingual Change Manager for our federal government client who is able to manage, design, implement and oversee the change management strategy and plan that will support this important transformation journey towards a refreshed MU MLI operating model. The selected candidate will provide senior-level subject matter expertise and lead the overall delivery of the Change Management support to the project. This person will work in close collaboration with the Project Manager, the Project Sponsors and Business Leads and in alignment with the Organizational Change Management team and guidelines.
The selected resource will provide the following Services and have the following experience and skills:
(a) Develop and lead the implementation of a change management strategy and plan for the project; (b) Apply change management best practices, methodology, processes and tools, including the design and execution of change management activities, readiness assessments and stakeholder impact analyses; (c) Develop and maintain change management documentation, working in an integrated way with project management and Organizational Change Management; (d) Identify change risks and potential impacts, develop a change risk mitigation plan, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate change risks; (e) Develop and/or oversee the development of communication, engagement, sponsor/leaders and training plans in collaboration with other relevant teams; (f) Monitor change adoption, and provide recommendations to stakeholders on best practices and targeted actions that will manage resistance to change; (g) Define, track and report progress against change management performance metrics, in alignment with benefits realization for the project; (h) Provide sound change management advice and guidance to project leaders in an effort to mitigate change risks, support decision-making, and ensure integration across other CMHC’s dependant change initiatives; (i) Conduct presentations and awareness sessions to promote, explain and provide exposure to change management value, principles, processes and tools, as required by the project team and stakeholder needs; (j) Actively participate in project management meetings and provide updates on change management support; (k) Provide regular change management reviews for sponsor and project leads; (l) Build and maintain connections across the organization in an effort to anticipate change management needs and influence planning and execution decisions; (m)Ensure transfer of ownership of all change outcomes to proper business leads for sustainment of the implemented changes; (n) Extensive experience with projects involving: operations optimisation; operational excellence; change of processes, systems and behaviors; (o) Extensive knowledge of change management best practices and Prosci© methodology; (p) Change management certification (Prosci© preferred, others acceptable); (q) Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology; (r) Language: Bilingual. Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French. Note that the proposed resource may not be solely responsible for the completion of these deliverables. The consultant will be expected to work collaboratively with staff to ensure the work is completed in a way that ensures maximum knowledge transfer.
