    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Onsite Technical Support Specialist (Support/Admin) for our Federal Government client.

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not limited to:

     Responsible for installation configuration, maintenance, patching/upgrade of software on
    Microsoft Windows and RedHat Linux servers.
     Responsible for installing, configuring, patching/upgrading, administering and supporting various
    server-client applications for example: PEGA, Jira, Confluence, etc.,
     Provide both technical and end-user application support for various COTS products and serverclient applications across multiple environments (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and a
    number of other products).
     Provide support for desktop applications running on Windows 10 or higher within a Microsoft
    networked environment.
     Responsible for scripting in PowerShell and/or python and/or bash in order to automate repetitive
    tasks.
     Provide installation, maintenance and maintenance various web-servers for example: Apache
    Tomcat Web Server, Microsoft’s Internet Information Server (IIS), etc.,
     Provide packaging, implementation and support of applications within a LAN/WAN environment
    using Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager 2012 or higher.
     Participate in assigned inter and intra divisional projects as a team member.
     Meet with the Technical Authority and provide written and verbal documentation as to the status
    of tasks assigned on an as needed and as required basis.
     Participate in any assigned projects and strategic planning activities.
     Attend meetings in accordance with the tasks assigned on an as needed and as required basis.
     Modify and prepare operational procedures and network/application documentation as needed.
     Provide assistance with patching and upgrading applications and/or Operating systems.
     Assist by providing specific support activities in a mixed Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows
    Server environment
     Provide support and maintenance of Microsoft’s Internet Information Server (IIS)
