Community & Social Responsibility

Giving Back

Maplesoft believes in corporate social responsibility and citizenship. A key part of our core values is to give back to those who have granted us success. Hence, our employees and consultants dedicate their time, resources and energy towards improving the communities where they live and where Maplesoft operates.

Please see the video for the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s Courage Campaign.

We understand that, through our valued clients, consultants and partners, we are deeply connected to all the communities where we operate. We're proud to lend a hand to the following organizations and initiatives:

Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation

Maplesoft Group is proud to align itself with the work the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is doing in our community. The foundation has made it a top priority to improve the lives of local residents by ensuring they have access to the best possible care close to home, as well as access to new therapies, shorter wait times and overall improved quality of life. That is important to Maplesoft's management team and our employees too. We try to lead by example and give back to the communities in which we live and work.

Our employees really take pride in what we do, and through hard work and our success as a company, we do what we can to give back. The work of the foundation, and Wellspring’s focus on support for cancer survivors, is something our employees can get behind. We are proud to know that the region’s first cancer survivorship centre will be named “Maplesoft Centre.” Having our name on the centre is a reminder for our whole team to continue to give back.

Maplesoft AAA Hockey Program

We believe that active communities are healthy communities, and we proudly support opportunities for our young athletes. To that end, we sponsor the Maplesoft Hawks, an Ottawa junior hockey organization focused on excellence and fair play. Our Calgary office proudly sponsors the Maplesoft Calgary Junior Flames.

The Maplesoft Children's Foundation

We recently launched our Children's Foundation, where we contribute one dollar for every day a consultant is on assignment. This helps children in need to attend summer camp.

United Way-Centraide

Our commitment to the United Way is an ongoing part of our philanthropy efforts. The United Way-Centraide's annual campaign supports many social service agencies including youth services, crisis intervention, and services for the elderly – services vital to ensuring peace of mind and quality of life within our community. Cost-saving centralized administration and a visible commitment to local communities makes the United Way a charitable organization that we are proud to support.

The Ottawa Hospital Foundation

The Ottawa Hospital Foundation is committed to developing a world-class hospital with modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. Given the importance of excellent medical care and the impact it has on every one of us, Maplesoft believes support for this critical fundraising organization is a high priority. We've made a five-year pledge to the 20-20 Campaign to renovate and expand the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre.

My Town My Team

Investing in hockey country always pays off. As President and CEO of Maplesoft, Jody Campeau knows the value of a good investment. That’s why he sponsors and coaches the Maplesoft Hawks, which offers spring-season hockey for 250 7-to-15-year-olds in Ottawa. And it's why the father of six young players is a Sens season-seat holder. "The Senators set the standard for community involvement," he says, "and the club is vital to the city’s economic development."
