    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid Enterprise Architect for our client. This is a hybrid role and can be filled from Toronto, Calgary, Regina (Or most major Canadian cities).

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    Architecture Standards & Governance:
    - Define and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and lifecycle strategies.
    - Ensure solutions and projects comply with enterprise architecture principles.
    - Conduct design reviews and promote standards adoption.
    - Monitor compliance and assess impacts on enterprise architecture.

    Architecture Design & Implementation:
    - Develop current-to-future state architecture models and roadmaps.
    - Analyze business trends, technology evolution, and environmental gaps.
    - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
    - Ensure solution feasibility, performance, scalability, and technical alignment.
    - Collaborate with delivery teams on technology selection and solution design.
    - Support implementation, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Consultation & Collaboration:
    - Advise cross-functional teams and partners on architecture best practices.
    - Translate strategic needs into actionable solution architectures.
    - Partner with program and development teams to align requirements with architecture.
    - Work with vendors on standards, release management, and risk mitigation.

    Specialty-Specific Responsibilities

    Information & Data:
    - Lead enterprise data modeling and define canonical data views.
    - Establish data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices.
    - Drive data stewardship, quality initiatives, and MDM strategies.

    Security:
    - Embed security controls and strategies into enterprise architectures.
    - Support regulatory and compliance requirements.
    - Provide advisory on platform security, risk, and threat management.

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science.
    - ~16+ years of progressive IT experience across multiple domains.
    - Strong background in architecture, infrastructure, security, development, and data.
    - Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business audiences.
    - Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder-influencing skills.
    - Experience evaluating financial impacts of architectural decisions.
    - Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., financial services or insurance).
    - Technical Requirements (as applicable to specialty)
    - Technology: Deep expertise in enterprise technical architectures.
    - Security: CISSP required; additional certifications (GIAC, SANS, TOGAF, SABSA) are assets.
    - Solutions: Strong understanding of application platforms and infrastructure.
    - Information & Data: Enterprise-level data modeling and MDM expertise.

    Additional Requirements:
    - Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    - Background check required.
