Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a remote Data Migration Specialist (AI-Driven Transformation) for our Federal Government client.

Position Summary:
Our Federal Government client is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to support enterprise content transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead enterprise data and content migration activities while leveraging AI-enabled technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to improve document classification, metadata enrichment, and content normalization.

This role combines hands-on migration execution, enterprise data transformation, and AI-assisted automation to support the modernization of legacy content repositories into modern platforms such as Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration & Transformation
• Lead migration of enterprise content repositories to modern platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online)
• Assess legacy content environments and perform migration readiness analysis
• Design migration strategies, wave planning, and data transformation approaches
• Perform metadata mapping, taxonomy alignment, and content normalization

AI-Enabled Content Processing
• Apply LLMs and AI-driven tools to support document classification and metadata enrichment
• Develop prompt-driven workflows for document tagging and content structuring
• Support intelligent content discovery and data organization

Migration Execution
• Execute enterprise data migrations and validate migrated content
• Support governance alignment and permissions restructuring
• Perform migration validation and post-migration reconciliation

Client Advisory
• Provide guidance on data governance, transformation readiness, and migration frameworks
• Support secure and compliant migration practices within regulated environments

Collaborate with technical teams and enterprise stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
• VALID Secret Clearance (Level II)
• Enterprise data migration expertise
• Microsoft 365 / SharePoint migration expertise
• AI/LLM-enabled document processing
• Data governance and compliance knowledge
• Consulting and stakeholder collaboration experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with AI-assisted document classification or prompt engineering
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AI content processing, or retrieval-based architectures
• Experience supporting Government of Canada clients
• Knowledge of records management and information governance

Compensation: 
Salary Range: $80.00 – $100.00 per hour
