    About Us:
    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a remote Senior Data Migration Specialist with valid secret clearance to support enterprise content migration initiatives involving the transformation of legacy repositories into modern platforms such as Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online for our client.

    Position Summary:
    This role focuses on the technical execution of migration pipelines, including transformation rule development, automation, and migration workflow configuration. The specialist will work with the client's migration platform and engineering team to analyze legacy environments, implement migration logic, and execute large-scale content migrations while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

    The successful candidate will operate in a hands-on technical capacity, supporting migration engineering, automation, and migration execution activities.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Analyze legacy content repositories and document management systems
    • Design and implement migration pipelines and transformation rules
    • Configure and execute enterprise content migrations to target platforms such as SharePoint Online
    • Develop automation scripts to support migration workflows
    • Implement content transformation, normalization, and metadata mapping
    • Support integration between migration tooling and enterprise platforms
    • Monitor migration performance and troubleshoot migration errors
    • Perform migration validation and data integrity checks
    • Collaborate with architects and governance specialists to align migration execution with enterprise policies
    • Document migration procedures, scripts, and technical configurations
    • Experience executing enterprise content migrations
    • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Online

    Required Qualifications:
    • VALID Secret Clearance (Level II)
    • Experience with migration tools such as:
    • ShareGate
    • SPMT
    • Metalogix
    • Gimmal
    • Xillio
    • Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell or similar)
    • Experience working with content transformation and metadata mapping
    • Understanding of enterprise content management systems and document repositories
    • Experience troubleshooting migration errors and validating migrated content
    • Government of Canada project experience
    • Experience migrating EDRMS / OpenText / GCdocs repositories
    • Experience working with automation pipelines or migration platforms
    • Familiarity with Power Platform or Microsoft Graph
    • Experience supporting large enterprise migration programs

    Compensation 
    Salary Range: $80.00 – $100.00 per hour
