About Us:
Maplesoft Group is currently seeking hybrid Intermediate and Specialist Group Benefits professionals to support our client’s Third-Party Administration (TPA) division.

Position Summary:
The Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role within the client's Third-Party Administration (TPA) division, supporting the day-to-day operations of group benefits administration for a diverse portfolio of clients across Canada.
Our client is hiring at Intermediate, and Senior (Specialist) levels. The scope and complexity of responsibilities will align with experience, ranging from transactional plan administration to client leadership, mentorship, and operational improvement initiatives.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of Canadian group insurance, a high attention to detail, and a client-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Group Benefits Administration & Client Servicing
• Manage group benefits administration including enrollments, terminations, life event changes, and salary updates
• Perform premium billing reconciliation, adjustments, and reporting
• Maintain eligibility data and contract updates
• Respond to client, member, and advisor inquiries (including escalations at senior levels)
• Interpret plan designs, insurer contracts, and administrative policies
Client & Carrier Coordination
• Liaise with insurance carriers to resolve issues and manage ongoing requirements
• Support or lead client relationships depending on experience level
Implementations & Transitions
• Assist with or lead onboarding and implementation of new clients
• Coordinate data gathering, system configuration, and carrier setup
• Support client training, documentation, and transition processes
Team Collaboration & Mentorship
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members (intermediate/senior levels)
• Participate in team meetings, service reviews, and projects
Process Improvement & Documentation
• Maintain accurate documentation for client accounts and workflows
• Contribute to SOPs and process improvements
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery

Required Qualifications:
• Mandatory: Experience in a Third-Party Administration (TPA) environment supporting group benefits
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
• Experience in group benefits administration (TPA, insurer, or advisory environment)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
