    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Information Technology Security Threat and Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation Analyst L3 for one of our clients in the National Capital Region. 

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement Of Work” but are not limited to:

    Our client is seeking the services of multiple cyber security resources:


    •          Strategic Information Technology Security Planning and Protection Consultant (Category C1 - Level 3) - (one resource Year 1 and Option Period 1)

    •          Information Technology Security Threat and Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation Analyst (Category C3 - Level 3) – (four resources Year 1, three resources Option Period 1)

    •          Incident Management Specialist (Category C12 -Level 3) – (one resource Year 1, 0 are anticipated for Option Period 1)

    •          Information Technology Security Methodology, Policy and Procedures Analyst (Category C2- Level 3) – (one resource Year 1 and Option Period 1)


    Resources are required on an "as needed basis” to participate in the OCIO’s evolution of solutions. Task Authorizations (TAs) may be issued for any of these resource and levels.


    The main objective of this work will be to support Parks Canada's OCIO and clients in the delivery of a security framework and secure IM/IT solutions. Specific activities and deliverables will be identified in the TAs.


    Information Technology Security Threat and Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation Analyst (C3 - Level 3)


    Tasks may include but are not limited to:


    •          Develop reports such as: Data security analysis, Concepts of operation, Statements of Sensitivity (SoSs), Threat assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Non-technical Vulnerability Assessments, Risk assessments, IT Security threat, vulnerability and/or risk briefings

    •          Identify personnel, technical, physical, and procedural threats to and vulnerabilities of IT systems

    •          Conduct Certification and Accreditation activities to ensure that the system will operate with an acceptable level of risk and that it will comply with the departmental and system security policies and standards and identify the conditions under which a system is to operate (for approval purposes)

    •          Brief senior managers

    •          Develop and deliver relevant training material
