    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Tester - level 3 for our Federal Government client.

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not
    limited to:

    Primary Responsibilities

    i. Work closely with team members, executing the Agile Scrum Software Development
    Methodology, and integrating per-sprint deliverables into a cohesive hardened release.
    ii. Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and define test cases and
    procedures.
    iii. Design and implement manual and/or automated tests to validate functionality, scalability and
    stability of corporate, mission and security applications.
    iv. Design test scenarios, write test cases, perform software tests, and prioritize test activities for
    all levels of testing (unit, system, integration, regression).
    v. Define and prepare Test Strategy and Test plan documents when required.
    vi. Plan, execute and track of all test and quality assurance activities for projects in an iterative
    delivery process, using judgment to strategically balance quality, schedule and cost
    vii. Work on testing websites, COTS, SaaS-hosted and end-to-end systems that integrates a front-end
    Graphical User Interface (GUI) with back-end software in multiclassification environments.
    viii. Execute test cases and procedures, detect and track defects as required and record the results
    using test management and tracking tools.
    ix. Assist with the resolution of issues or failed tests that may arise.
    x. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with CSE Information Management (IM) best
    practices, standards, and industry standards.
    xi. Perform requirements gathering and requirements definition in support of improved QA
    processes and/or information systems.
    xii. Identify, follow, and review existing QA processes.
    xiii. Provide subject matter expertise for QA to define and design processes and practices.
    xiv. Establish a standardized methodology for gathering, documenting, and implementing QA
    activities.
    xv. Provide recommendations to management, based on the analysis, to QA processes.
    xvi. Perform analysis to identify areas to improve QA processes and best practices:
    a. Develop test automation framework.
    b. Design and write test automation scripts.
    c. Evaluate and recommend test automation tools and solutions if applicable for in-house
    applications.
    d. Develop and execute automated test suites using COTS and custom tools to minimize
    human intervention.
    e. Integrate test suites into the test management system, custom test harnesses, or
    integrated development pipeline.
    f. Participate in Test Automation and other QA communities of practice and contribute to
    the QA best practices knowledge base.
    xvii. Lead the implementation and knowledge transfer with other key resources for ensuring the
    successful implementation and sustained QA processes and practices.
