    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Network Security Analyst for our Federal Government client.

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not
    limited to:

    Primary Responsibilities

    Gather appropriate requirements, and work with various clients and stakeholders for the delivery of network solutions.  
    Review standard operating procedures, and coordinate work in relation to writing, maintaining, and enhancing documentation.  
    Contribute and participate in the implementation of new technologies, as well as liaise with respective enterprise engineering teams when required. 
    Understand and work in an environment that involves Cisco networking equipment: specifically involving Catalyst 3560 Switches, Cisco 3850 Switches, Catalyst 9300 Switches, ASA 5525, ASA 5555, FRP 1010, FRP 2110, FRP 2130, Symattricom S250, MicroSemi S650, ISR 4331 / 4351 
    Routing and Switching, Networks Security Principles, Various Service Firewall, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Load balancers, etc.   
    The Network Analyst would also work alongside the following enterprise teams: Servers Operations and modernization teams, virtualization, Windows/Linux, Storage and Backup, Videoconferencing, Database Administration, Enterprise backbone Team (GCWAN), etc…  
    Provide guidance, prepare and deliver end-user training to clients on the replacement IT infrastructure operation and services. 
    Provide advice to clients and colleagues on various technical subjects such as network operating systems, enterprise software, standards and guidelines, protocols and utilities. 
    Participate as a member on projects in discussions with colleagues, clients, technical advisors, managers and suppliers in order to explain or resolve technical issues. 
    Inventory, license, install, troubleshoot, and document IT infrastructure as it related to the replacement of legacy network and telephone infrastructure. 
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and products. 
    Troubleshoots, and responds to user problems. 
    Configures and optimizes technical installations. 
    Installs and monitors particular facets of technology. 
    Prepare implementation plans for particular technologies. 

    Requirements 
    Resource must be available for 7.5 hour within business hours (7:00-18:00), Monday to Friday 
    Resource must be willing to work full time on site within a classified security zone.  
    Resource must posses a valid secret clearance
