    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist for our Federal Government client.

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not limited to:

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Monitor progress and assist with the implementation of medium-to-large IT infrastructure and
    application projects
    • Provide guidance to others on matters relating to project management practices and methodologies
    • Work with the project team to develop and present project proposals, business cases, charters, project
    plans, and change and risk logs
    • Prioritize work to achieve project objectives and ensuring the collaboration of other teams
    • Function as a central point of contact for all project resources and subject matter experts
    • Understand client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
    • Assist with the development of plans and track mechanisms to ensure appropriate follow-up and
    completion of tasks
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of supporting documentation, executive briefings, and
    records of decisions, while ensuring completeness and consistency aligned with the Bank’s documentmanagement policies
    • Maintain collaborative relations with all members of the project teams, including all stakeholders, to
    support the successful delivery of the project’s objectives
    • Other related activities and deliverables, as required

    Required Qualifications & Skills
    The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
    • University degree or college diploma in business administration, computer science or a related field
    • A minimum of seven (7) years of project management experience in a large financial services or
    technology environment
    • A minimum of three (3) years of recent project management experience delivering IT infrastructure
    projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent of two thousand (2,000) hours of
    demonstrated project management work
    • Demonstrated experience with a solid understanding of IT service delivery and support processes
    Additional Qualifications
    The following will also be considered:
    • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of project life-cycle management
    • Demonstrated experience with strategic and tactical thinking
