    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a PIA Specialist for our Federal Government client.

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not limited to:

    1 Attend and Participate in a Kick-Off meeting with the Project Authority to discuss the objectives, schedules, and expectation of the project.
    2 Review, analyze, and/or apply[1]:
    Treasury Board Privacy Impact Assessment Policy and Guidelines
    Federal Privacy Act and Regulations
    Treasury Board Privacy and Data Protection Policy
    Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)
    GC IT/IM policies and guidelines
    3 Conduct a PIA of the administration of CNSC Insider Risk Management Program, in accordance with the requirements of[2]:
    Treasury Board Privacy Impact Assessment Policy
    Treasury Board Privacy Impact Assessment Policy Guidelines
    Treasury Board Directive on Automated Decision-Making
    Other relevant standards, procedures, and guidelines
    4 Provide a work plan for the completion of the PIA, including a schedule of activities.
    5 The PIA must be completed in accordance with TBS guidelines and policies, as well as the Privacy Act. The PIA must be acceptable to the TBS and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) and contain all necessary privacy information and risks.
    6 Conduct privacy analysis to provide evidence of compliance with privacy principles and to identify privacy risks
    7 Complete all sections of an approved PIA template consistent with the Directive on Privacy Impact Assessment, as directed by the Project Authority
    8 Develop a Privacy Risk Management Plan in accordance with the Treasury Board Privacy Impact Assessment Policy instruments
    9 Provide a privacy analysis report that supports evidence of the assessment compliance with privacy principles and to identify privacy risks mitigation strategies
    10 Develop recommendations as to possible privacy risk mitigation strategies
    11 Complete risk mitigation measures, which must be incorporated in the PIA, describing recommended risk mitigation plans, risk owners, and timelines.
    12 Assist staff in developing a Personal Information Bank (PIB) for TBS registration
    13 Provide a bi-weekly activity report to the Project Authority that includes the progress of the deliverable and overall project
