Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an ATIP resource for our client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
 
Compliance Assurance:
- Ensure that the new system is fully compliant.
- Conduct assessment to identify and address any potential privacy risks within the system.

Best Practices Integration:
- Promote privacy best practices with the context of design, configuration and use of the system.
- Collaborate with the team and vendor to ensure these best practices are integrated into the design and configuration of the system.

Training and Education:
- Advise on the development and delivery of privacy training programs related to the use of the system and access to patient data available to relevant stakeholders

Subject Matter Expertise:
- Act as an expert resource on privacy matters, providing guidance to internal teams.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation and expectations and proactively update relevant stakeholders on implications.

Policy and Protocol Development:
- Advise on the creation of or revisions to policies, practices, and protocols.
- Ensure that privacy considerations are embedded into all relevant organizational policies.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Promote awareness of privacy programs and services to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address privacy concerns and enhance overall program effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, information management, health information management).
- In-depth knowledge of health privacy principles, orders, decisions and guidelines.
- Proven experience in advising on privacy matters within a healthcare or related setting.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems (Oracle Millennium preferred) and their implementation in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
