Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Solaris System Administrator-Unix for our client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
 
• Assist with operational support for the Solaris 11 environment 
• Contribute to Solaris OS patching and remediation practices and cycles
• Assist with planning and execution Solaris patch management using best practices
• Assist with execution and planning of installation, configuration and tuning of Solaris servers using 
OVM.
• Provide input to and/or developing necessary documentation (build books, operation guides) 
• Other activities and deliverables, as required
 
Required Qualifications & Skills 
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
• University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related field
• A minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated work experience with:
o Solaris 11
o Unix System administration and hardware support
o Build automation (Scripting, Packaging, Ansible, OpsCenter)
