    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Business System Analyst for our Federal Government client.

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
     
    • Perform technical and functional requirements analysis
    • Support workflows and fully qualified Jira Epics and Stories to facilitate Product Development 
    through an Agile sprint lifecycle for large scale IT enabled projects
    • Work with the scrum team to analyze, find, and validate solutions to complex business problems
    • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and capabilities
    • Facilitate refinement sessions, ensuring requirements are understood by the development team
    • Assist with the development of technical specifications for features 
    • Assist with the development of documentation, including business/systems processes, data 
    requirements, as well as functional and technical specifications related to the system
    • Assist with the analysis of messaging standards to incorporate new features/functionality 
    • Write, plan, and execute test scenarios and coordinate user acceptance testing 
    • Participate in the Business Analysis Community of Practice sharing experiences and ideas 
    • Other related activities and deliverables, as required 
     
    Required Qualifications & Skills 
    The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
    • University degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, computer science or 
    related field 
    • A minimum of seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in the development of business 
    requirements, delivery of business systems analysis, processes, systems design, and technology
    • A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience with the agile software development 
    methodology in the capacity of a business analyst

    Additional Qualifications 
    The following will also be considered:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of high-available banking and payments systems
    • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA) or other 
    relevant professional designations
