    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Tester for our Federal Government client.

    The Tester must complete the following tasks, including but not limited to:

    • Participate in business, functional and technical requirements and design reviews, and provide 
    quality assurance input to the software development life-cycle;
    • Develop testing strategy, frameworks, tools and processes for cloud-based applications;
    • Create testing procedures for unit test, integration testing, end-to-end, regression testing,
    performance and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and user functionality;
    • Develop and implement automated testing frameworks, tools and processes to streamline the 
    testing process;
    • Develop test plans, test scripts and test data;
    • Perform verification and validation to ensure that the software application systems meet 
    business, functional and non-functional specifications and that it fulfills its intended purpose;
    • Ensure requirements traceability and high level of product quality;
    • Identify system quality assurance risks and issues in a timely fashion;
    • Produce status reports;
    • Identify, report and manage defects using defect tracking tools, collaborating with the 
    development team to ensure timely resolution
    • Performing security testing to identify vulnerabilities, ensuring the application is robust against 
    threats and complies with security standards;
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers, reviewing their work, and ensuring testing 
    best practices are followed across the team
    • Create detailed test reports, documenting test results, and communicating findings to 
    stakeholders, providing insights into the quality and readiness of the application for release;
    • Prepare transition material and participate in transition activities no later than 10 day in 
    advance of end of contract (assuming no renewal or extension);
