Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Agile Tester Analyst for our Provincial Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
 
- Provide a senior level of support for implementation of Quality Assurance methodologies, processes and standards to identify and resolve application errors
- Analyze technological solutions identified and understand requirements
- Methodical and results driven test analyst to idenfity and apply test procedures to ensure product quality
- Develop test cases, scenario and test data to validate business requirements and solution business process designs
- Execute tests to validate quality of technological solution
- Identify problems and make recommendations to get defects corrected, retested and closed as soon as possible
- Identify level of severity for defects founds according to test approach definitions
- Identify and detect functional anomalies, analyze and categorize them
- Collect all pertinent information from many sources if required to understand a situation, analyze it and provide recommendations.
- Apply QA methodologies, norms and process
- Collaborate with Testing team lead to report progress in project preparation, design, build and test execution tasks assigned
- Pro-active engagement with all involved stakeholders (project team members, third party vendors/ service partners and IT teams) to deliver all phases of testing
 
Interpersonal Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in an SAP as a Quality Assurance Lead/Manager or similar role
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in an SAP project environment with +3 project implementations delivered
- In depth knowledge of SAP SDLC
- Knowledge of Business Processes in Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, WMS an asset
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to communicate openly and effectively with all levels of diverse functional groups to achieve mutual understandings and results
- Eye for detail along with passion for detecting and problem solving
- Strong analytical and technical investigation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Ability to reliably execute to a plan and demonstrated dependability and ownership to ensure project success
- Experience in Test Management Tools; experience with Jira considered an asset
- Knowledge in best practice in quality assurance
