    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a FICO Rules Developer for our client.

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
     
    - Design, develop, and implement business rules using FICO Blaze Advisor.
    - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    - Optimize and maintain existing FICO rules to ensure high performance and scalability.
    - Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
    - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FICO rules and applications.
    - Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in FICO rules coding and decision management.


    Mandatory Requirements: 
    - Undergraduate degree in a related field, such as computer science, software engineering, business administration 
    - Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC);
    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in rules coding using FICO Blaze Advisor or other similar rule management platforms
    - Strong understanding of decision management and business rules management systems (BRMS).
    - Proficiency in Java and other relevant programming languages.
    - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and very resourceful.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    - Minimum security clearance of Reliability 
    - A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered. 

    Assets
    - Certification in FICO Blaze Advisor.
    - Experience with other BRMS tools.
    - Knowledge of financial services or related industries.
    - Cobol, CICS, visual basic .net, DB2, SAS, Databricks
