    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Program Officer (hybrid/Bilingual) for our client.

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
     

    Governance and program management:

    • Ensure the implementation and follow-up of the vision and strategy of the program;
    • Set up a governance structure with monitoring and steering committees;
    • Provide overall oversight of the underlying IT projects;
    • Ensure regular reporting to key stakeholders (IT management, units
    business, suppliers);
    • Identify and mitigate technological, financial and operational risks.

    Stakeholder coordination and management:

    • Follow-up activities with IT teams, business units and
    external partners;
    • Ensure smooth communication and strategic alignment between different
    programme actors.

    Budget and contract management:

    • Oversees the management of the overall program budget
    • Monitor costs and ensure value for money and human resources;
    • Ensure compliance with contracts with suppliers;

    Deployment and transition;

    • Participate in the definition and supervision of migration and integration activities
    new systems;
    • Manage tests, validations and certifications prior to implementation production;
    • Coordinate training and change management activities; 

    Key competencies

    • Ability to structure a large program and manage multiple concurrent projects;
    • Knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure), APIs, systems integration;
    • Communication and leadership skills;
    • Ability to mobilize and align multidisciplinary teams;
    • Fluency in both oral and written English
    • Experience in the gaming, lottery or fintech industry (major asset);
    • Knowledge and mastery of the Agile Scrum process (major asset).

    Elements of compliance

    • Minimum of ten (10) years of IT project or program management experience.
