    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Production Designer for our client.

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
     
    - Produces high-quality information products, for all platforms, following the client's visual design standards and processes
    - Formats reports, manuals, charts, tables, and presentations following established templates, styles and processes
    - Accurately incorporates proofreader and client feedback into documents.
    - Reviews quality of formatting work by other Production Designers and external agencies (QC) Verifies quality of work using a checklist to ensure that quality standards are met.
    - Collaborates with the Senior Production Designer to create custom information products
    - Creates and maintains all working files and final file formats in accordance with departmental procedures.
    - Acts as a corporate resource for questions related to desktop publishing and use of corporate templates.
    - Develops and maintains strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
    - Other related duties as required.

    Deliverables:
    - The designer will follow the client's visual design standards to produce reports, charts, tables, presentations and other deliverables as required. The designer will integrate with the team and its production processes, report to the Team Lead, and be assigned tasks by the team’s coordinator.

    Knowledge and Experience:
    - College diploma in graphic design, publishing, or related field
    - At least 2 years of experience using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel    
    - Basic knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design        
    - Basic knowledge of data visualization principles and practices       
    - Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
    - Familiarity with UX principles, web design, and basic coding such as HTML, CSS, Javascript is an asset
    = Works well under pressure and manages multiple priorities to meet deadlines
    - Good organizational skills and attention to detail
    - Good verbal and written communication skills
    - Fluency in both official languages is an asset
