Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Analyst/Product Manager Data for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Strategic Business & Data Alignment
- Act as a data strategist and trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders, translating business goals into data requirements and actionable solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to deeply understand business drivers, KPIs, and analytical needs across departments.
- Data Mapping & Azure Ecosystem Leadership
- Lead the mapping of complex data flows across Azure components, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and SQL Databases.
- Work closely with data architects to ensure business requirements are aligned with data models, pipelines, and architectural standards.
- Develop and maintain robust documentation, including data lineage, flow diagrams, and interface mapping.
- Change Request & Implementation Governance
- Own the lifecycle of high-impact change requests: from impact analysis and prioritization through to deployment and post-implementation review.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA teams, and DevOps to ensure changes are implemented with minimal disruption.
- Manage change control boards, sprint planning sessions, and delivery timelines for data platform initiatives.
- Data Governance, Quality, and Compliance
- Partner with data governance and compliance teams to ensure data solutions adhere to enterprise standards, privacy policies, and security frameworks.
- Define data quality metrics and collaborate on anomaly detection and resolution processes.
- Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct high-value data investigations and complex queries across structured and unstructured datasets.
- Deliver advanced dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI, ensuring consistent performance, reliability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders using robust analytical storytelling.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or analytics consulting within enterprise environments.
- Proven experience working with Azure data services at scale, with strong familiarity with data pipelines, transformation layers, and storage components.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI
- Demonstrated success in managing complex data projects, including multi-stakeholder coordination, technical translation, and delivery oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Certifications in Azure Data Fundamentals,

- Executive Communication: Ability to engage and influence senior leaders with data-driven storytelling.
- Systems Thinking: Holistic understanding of how data flows through people, processes, and technology.
- Leadership: Self-starter with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in requirements documentation, quality assurance, and delivery hand-offs
Must Haves:
5-8 years doing large scale integration
5- 8 years Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to deeply understand business drivers, KPIs, and analytical needs across departments
6+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or analytics consulting within enterprise environments.
