Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Report Writer for our Provincial Government client.

Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Design, develop, test, validate and optimize Cerner CCL extracts and reports 
Collaborate with key stakeholders including leaders, clinical staff, finance, IT and others to interpret and validate report/extract requirements
- Execute thorough analysis of all Oracle Millennium data elements (tables and fields), profile data, and design data queries with strong expertise in SQL, Oracle and/or similar data storage and extraction software query languages
- Develop data extract solutions to store and retrieve company information
- Install and configure information systems to ensure accuracy and high data quality
- Analyze structural requirements for the new Oracle Health reports and data extracts
- Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
- Improve query performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
- Schedule reports and extracts using Olympus Scheduler
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
- Review gaps and propose a solution for Millennium systems during the solution design phase
- Define, document, communicate, and stabilize relevant report and code developed  
- Support the design and help implement visualization and reporting to satisfy, privacy, security and business needs and 
data retention policies of the organization

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Cerner Programmer/Analyst or CCL developer/report writer
- 5+ years’ experience working in Healthcare, with emphasis on Canadian Hospitals
- 5+ years’ experience working in and supporting Cerner Millennium applications
- Expert knowledge of CCL/Discern Explorer, Olympus Scheduling and Discern Rules (EKM)
- Experience building MPages considered an asset
- Experience in PowerInSight Explorer/DA2 considered an asset
 

Education & Training
•   Bachelor's degree or Community College diploma relating to computer technology
•   In-depth understanding of database structure principles
•   Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
•   Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
•   Expertise in Cerner Command Language (CCL) SQL and Oracle Millennium Applications
•   Experience with producing conceptual and logical architecture diagrams
•   Proven analytical skills
•   Problem-solving attitude
