Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect (Banking) for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
– Design and implement software architecture solutions to meet project and business requirements.
– Lead technical discussions, presentations, and workshops with senior stakeholders.
– Ensure alignment of solutions with industry standards and best practices.
– Analyze and address complex technical challenges to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
– Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
– Oversee the technical delivery of projects, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance with client expectations.
– Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
– Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in client solutions.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– 10 yrs. experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role.
– Strong proficiency in designing and developing scalable banking or finance systems.
– Have solid knowledge of the Java platforms;
– Have a demonstrable understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), as well as Micro-Services Architecture;
– Have knowledge and best practices about architectural frameworks;
– Have professionally worked with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks;
– Have operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers and other infrastructure components required to deploy web applications in a highly available and scalable environment;
– Have created solutions for financial services (especially banking);
– Have experience with architectural patterns, such as Microservices, CQRS, event sourcing;
– Have experience with server virtualization and container technology such as Docker, VMWare, HyperV;
– Proficiency in designing solutions using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
– Ability to generate innovative ideas for applying AI in company workflows and products, along with leading and training team members on essential AI skills and knowledge.
