    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Project Manager for our client.

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    As a valued member of the Enterprise Intelligence Team, the Project Manager will play a crucial role leading a strategic project that is a key priority for the client – development and delivery of MIS reports and case costing data extracts. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Intelligence, the successful candidate will apply rigorous project management knowledge, technical expertise and interpersonal skills to successfully plan and execute on the project to completion using standard project management methodologies, best practices, and tools. 

    Responsibilities: 
    • Provide oversight to a cross-functional team to ensure cohesion and coordination across the various work packages. 
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and coordinate interdependencies between projects. 
    • Manage project teams by using exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, team building, conflict resolution and coaching skills to support both individual and team goals. 
    • Monitor all project deliverables to ensure milestones are met on budget and on time. 
    • Establish routine communications with project team members to discuss the status of deliverables, identify and mitigate risks, budget, performance, and upcoming milestones. 
    • Manage and maintain vendor relationships for projects, where required. 
    • Leverage and apply established Project Management process, tools and templates to execute projects in alignment with our enterprise methodologies, including development of project artifacts (e.g., project charters, project plans, risk logs, resource plans, budgets, status reports). 
    • Provide regular project updates to senior management and project stakeholders, including written status reports, verbal updates, and formal presentations. 
    • Support and encourage Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in project teams and lead by example. 

    Qualifications: 
    • CAPM or PMP designation required 
    • Preference given to candidates with experience in a health care IT environment and/or with experience delivering complex projects 
    • Experience working in a hospital environment, considered an asset 
    • Demonstrated experience implementing IT systems and managing technical projects (e.g., infrastructure, network and cyber security implementations, enterprise system upgrades, integration of systems) considered an asset 
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and SharePoint 
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences (e.g., technical, non-technical, clinical, executive) 
    • Demonstrated ability to handle a large, diversified workload with competing and changing priorities as well as aggressive deadlines 
    • Exceptional time management, analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills 
    • Results-oriented with sound logical thinking and ability to influence change 
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and take action 
    • Highly self-motivated and self-directed with keen attention to detail 
    • Consistent and regular attendance required 
    • Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset. 
    • Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code. Education & Training 
    • Community College or University degree specializing in business, project management IT or a health-related field
