Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Technical Transition Lead for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Scope of Work
- The Integration and Technical Transition Lead will be responsible for managing and supporting the technical onboarding and transition processes for external lenders integrating with the client's platform. This includes providing hands-on integration support, acting as the primary technical point of contact, developing and implementing transition plans, and maintaining comprehensive documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Integration Support
- Assist lenders in integrating their systems with platform APIs and data flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to authentication, data formatting, and connectivity.
- Collaborate with internal development teams to resolve complex integration challenges.
Transition Management
- Develop and manage technical transition roadmaps and plans for each assigned lender.
- Act as the focal point for all technical communications with lenders.
- Coordinate internal activities across cross-functional teams (e.g. security, data governance, testing) to ensure alignment with transition goals.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between lenders and internal teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into language understandable by non-technical stakeholders.
- Present and escalate issues, dependencies, and blockers to appropriate internal leadership.
- Organize and lead meetings to track progress and address issues during onboarding and transition.
Documentation & Reporting
- Draft and maintain technical documentation, including API guides, integration manuals, and transition checklists.
- Track and report the progress of lender transitions, including readiness assessments, testing milestones, and rollout status.
- Analyze incoming technical requests and identify common themes for process improvement.
- Testing & Implementation Support
- Collaborate with Test Leads to align internal and lender-side testing.
- Ensure that all required technical criteria are met for a smooth rollout.
- Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot any arising issues.
Deliverables
- Customized integration support plans and documentation sets per lender.
- Completed and validated transition and integration checklists.
- Weekly progress reports and stakeholder updates.
- Updated and versioned technical documentation aligned with product updates.
- RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log maintenance.
- Continuous improvement recommendations for the transition process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in API integration, backend development, and systems interoperability.
- Strong understanding of system development life cycles and transition planning.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and integration standards.
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Git, and Confluence.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and large-scale project management.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
