    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Guidewire Senior Developer (PolicyCenter/Integration) for our client.

    Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    Experience:
    • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (preferably with Certification), especially with Guidewire Integrations.
    • Previous experience with P&C Technology is an asset, as we are looking for quick onboarding.

    Responsibilities:
    • Providing guidance for newly-established Non-production Environments & Automation Team developers on building new environments, debugging issues, building an inventory of smoke tests for 100+ integrations and assessing if they meet best practices. 
    • Review technical debt and propose solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to assist with coaching, and facilitating discussion with peer delivery teams. 
    • Consult on strategy/next steps for the team.

    • You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.

    • You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues. 

    Requirements:
    • You have at least 5 years' relevant experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite
    • Experience integrating Guidewire with external systems via web services, REST APIs, and message queues.
    • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Java design principles, and related web technologies including XML
    • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • You have strong analytical skills
    • You have the ability to learn and pick-up new concepts quickly.
    • Mandatory Guidewire certification within 3 months of commencing role.
