Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Power Platform Developer for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Candidate will be designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, and Power Automate. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly applications, automate workflows, driving efficiency and informed decision-making within the organization.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Works collaboratively with business partners and other IT staff to select, implement, support, and upgrade Power Platform solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and assistance during the implementation or upgrade of enterprise business systems.
• Ensure compliance with established change management processes for the deployment of software patches, upgrades, or enhancements to the production environment.
• Contribute to successful completion of project deliverables by working collaboratively within a cross-functional project team comprised of business users, vendors, and IT staff
• Define, document, and maintain guidelines and standard operating procedures related to the operationalization and sustainment of Power Platform application and related components.
Job Requirements/Skills
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
o Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Aps)
o Integrate Power Apps with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and other third-party APIs.
o Create and manage workflows to automate business processes using Power Automate (Flow).
o Implement approval workflows, data synchronization, and scheduled tasks.
o Troubleshoot and enhance existing flows for efficiency and reliability.
o Optimize application performance and user experience.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data integration platforms.
o Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling in Power BI.
o Familiarity with Azure services, PowerShell, or custom connectors is a plus.
• 3 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online
o Basic understanding of SharePoint Online features and functionality.
o Experience in creating and customizing SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, and workflows.
o Knowledge of modern SharePoint (SPFx Framework) for building custom web parts and extensions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
• Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Power Platform features and updates.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying user requirements and conceptualizing technical solutions in accordance with best practices
• Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to existing solutions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills adept at effectively dealing with multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Experience with public sector and/or municipal IT systems would be an asset.
• Ability to listen to, understand and synthesize business and IT issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem recognition skills required.
• Excellent organization and time management skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be change oriented and possess an attitude of continuous improvement.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio. Training and Education
• University Degree in Computer Sciences, Informatics, Business Administration or related discipline
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate would be an asset.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate would be an asset
