Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Technology Specialist/Developer for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Administer, configure, and develop on the ServiceNow platform to support ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other business processes. • Design and implement custom applications and integrations using ServiceNow Studio and scripting tools.
• Maintain the health of the CMDB and ensure data integrity through Discovery and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage user roles, groups, and access controls (ACLs) to ensure secure and appropriate access.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching.
• Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client/server scripts, and notifications.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents related to the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Train our internal IT technology teams as needed and provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices.

Performance & Monitoring
• System performance baseline and monitoring dashboards
• Scheduled jobs and cleanup scripts
• Upgrade testing and validation checklist
• Performance tuning recommendations Documentation & Training Documentation
• Configuration guides for each module and integration
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for platform usage
• Troubleshooting playbooks for common issues

• Live or recorded training sessions with Q&A Stakeholder

Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and development.
• Experience managing ServiceNow upgrades and patching cycles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP web services.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and service management processes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Mandatory Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Proof of Certifications must be submitted)
Nice to have Certifications:
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (Proof of Certification must be submitted)
• ITIL Foundation Certification (Proof of Certification must be submitted)
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (for specific modules like ITSM, HRSD, etc.) (Proof of Certification must be submitted)
Work Location:
Hybrid Work Mode: The client supports a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both project priorities and flexibility and is subject to change over time. Consultants must attend at the designated RoP location on their first day of their contract, and on their final date of their contract. All other days worked in the RoP office will be determined between the Hiring Manager and the Consultant to support the Project. 24 hours notice will be provided to the VOR Consultant for required onsite work outside of the expected two days per week established at the beginning of the contract term between the Hiring Manager and the Consultant.
