Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid ERP Project Test Lead / Coordinator for our client. This hybrid role can be filled in Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Our client is undertaking a major finance modernization initiative to enhance business processes and technology across the organization.
As part of this transformation, the organization is implementing the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system. In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in testing coordination, ensuring the successful rollout of this enterprise-wide system.
You will collaborate closely with the Integrator Test Manager, Workstream Leads, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure high-quality testing execution and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with the Integrator Test Manager to develop and maintain comprehensive test plans aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate testing schedules and activities across multiple teams.
- Test Case Development & Execution
- Plan, organize, and schedule testing efforts across ERP modules.
- Work with Business Analysts and SMEs to develop detailed test cases leveraging the integrator’s ERP test library.
- Oversee manual test execution and record results in Jira.
Defect Management
- Track and manage defects using Jira and Power BI, ensuring timely logging, prioritization, and resolution.
- Coordinate re-testing efforts with development teams.
- Test Reporting & Metrics
- Generate and analyze regular test progress reports and metrics using Jira and Power BI.
- Highlight risks, summarize results, and escalate issues to the Delivery Project Manager as needed.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
- Prepare UAT scenarios, coordinate user participation, and collect feedback for resolution.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Project Managers, Functional Leads, and Developers to align testing with configurations and business needs.
- Identify and implement testing best practices and process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: Minimum 7 years in testing coordination or test management, ideally within ERP implementations (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ERP systems (finance, procurement, and core business processes).
Testing Expertise: Proven experience in planning and managing system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Tools: Proficient with Jira, Power BI, and ERP testing environments; TestRail experience is an asset.
Project Management: Strong organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments; familiarity with PM methodologies and tools.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis abilities.
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and completeness across test scenarios and documentation.
Teamwork: Collaborative and approachable; fosters knowledge sharing, mentoring, and team alignment.
Adaptability: Comfortable working under changing priorities and evolving project demands.
Additional Details:
Travel: Periodic travel may be required to Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa based on project needs.
On-site Frequency: Primarily remote, with on-site presence as needed during key testing phases (SIT and UAT).
