    Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Sr. Programmer/Software Developer (Onsite) for our Federal Government client.

    The following responsibilities are associated with the “Statement of Work” but are not limited to:

    1. Analysis, design, implementation, testing, and roll-out of CFW functionality:
    a. Performing object-oriented n-tier software design, using formal methodology
    and producing design documentation.
    b. Performing object-oriented software programming in Java to produce n-tier
    applications, to support highly available usage and/or for more than 100
    concurrent users.
    c. Performing unit testing of object-oriented software using test frameworks
    including producing and executing unit test cases and documenting the results.
    d. Performing performance tuning of object-oriented software.
    e. Compiling and authoring technical documentation related to the CFW project.
    f. Performing programming in procedural shell scripting (ie. bash).
    g. Deploying web-based object-oriented applications.
    h. Deploying object-oriented applications in a Spring Rest Boot environment.
    i. Knowledge transfer.
    2. Development of release schedules (twice per month):
    a. Providing support in the development of work breakdown structure and/or task
    definition for project activities.
    b. Providing support in the development of activity and task effort, duration and
    scheduling estimates.
    c. Maintaining up-to-date activity/task status information within project tracking
    databases.
    3. Specific initiatives driven by the CFW team:
    a. Analysing, designing, implementing, testing, and rolling out identity
    management activities led by the identity management group.
    b. Developing source code for new requirements and to address bugs/defects of
    the security framework, as assigned by the Technical Authority.
    c. Architecting identity management solutions using a combination of commercial
    or open-source identity products, existing in-house applications, and new
    custom Java services for their integration.
    d. Implementing OAuth for access delegation within in-house applications.
    e. Troubleshooting OAuth-related issues arising both during the implementation of OAuth
    and within in-house applications, and during the subsequent use of the
    applications.
